I drove the bike over to my in-laws. We got there, and before the
day was over, all of the "bikers" in the family begged to let them take it
for a spin. Encouraging me by stating, I used to own a bike in the early 80's!

Well I am a bit of a push-over, so I let a few of them ride it.

After they managed to strangle the clutch gears by all kinds of
weird up down and all around shifting, they determined they were ready
to take others for a ride as passengers. All I could envision is injuries
to them and the bike.

I gently took control, and said no. Man, I am going to buy a learner's bike
and take it over to any function in the future.
My "toy" is simply that - mine, and I aint letting
nobody have it again!

Guess I am a bit selfish. Any suggestions on how to handle all
those people who want to take your bike for a spin, yet you feel uncomfortable
letting them do it? I don't wish to be petty and
selfish, but I don't want them or the bike messed up.
